I’ve been doing professional wedding photography since 2009 and by God’s grace I’ve covered more than 1,000 weddings so far. As a photographer, I believe that there's just something about being able to capture the moment, the emotions. The thought of being able to capture some of the happiest memories of a person’s life and preserving them forever is what always motivates me. Inspirations: My biggest inspiration would be Zack Arias. I think his work is truly brilliant and the way he thinks and feels about photography is absolutely amazing! About WeddingMoments™: Our tagline is “Bring elegance back in to wedding photography.” In WeddingMoments™ we believe that photography is not just about taking pictures, it’s about painting with light. Thus we try our best to paint the moments of your precious day so that you can cherish them forever!

What services do you provide?

Our services include photography, wedding films/cinematography, wedding video, event management. We are a one-stop shop to all things related to wedding!

How much experience do you have as a photographer?

I started doing wedding photography professionally from 2009. So that gives me a experience a little bit over 5 years.

What is your style of photography?

My style of photography is like a documentary wedding and portrait photographer. I like to take a lot of candid shots of the bride and groom, and the guests. I want to capture every moment I can and tell a story through my frames.

Are your packages negotiable?

No, all our package prices are fixed.

What venues have you worked at previously?

We have worked is most of the venues in Dhaka and Chittagong, and some in Sylhet.

Are you open to working alongside other photography companies?

Yes, of course.

Do you work from a list of shots?

No. We have a few of our own special shots but most of our clicks are candid.

Can a client request certain pictures to be taken?
Yes, of course. We try to fulfil all our clients’ wishes within our capacity.

How soon after the wedding can a client expect their photos?
Our delivery time is a minimum of one month.

What equipment do you use? (camera, lenses, editing software)
I use two cameras: Canon 6D and Canon 7D. Lenses include Canon 70-200 f2.8, Canon 24-70 f2.8, Canon 85mm f1.8, Canon 50mm f1.4, etc. I use Adobe Lightroom to edit all my photos.

Do you bring your own lighting?

Yes, we bring our own studio set up.

Do you have backup equipment/dual card slot?

Yes, of course.

Do you have a substitute if you are sick on the day of the wedding?

Yes, of course.

Do you use client’s photography for advertising purposes?

We do, only after taking permission from our clients.

How far in advance should a client book your services?
Clients have to book us a minimum of one month before the event.

We are specialized in Wedding Films. However, we are widely keeping our presence in Wedding Cinematography, Wedding Photography, Portrait Photography, Corporate and Social cultural events.

Chhobi.net was founded in 2004, so it’s nearly a decade we have been capturing emotions for our clients. We have covered more than 1000 events and plan to go grow more.

What is your style of photography?

Our impact on your wedding day is minimal and no direction is given to capture the beautiful imagery we achieve. We believe that capturing the emotions you experience on your day, as well as the excitement and happiness of your family and friends is an ART FORM.

Are your packages negotiable?

No. But sometimes we tailor our packages to fit in client’s requirements.

What venues have you worked at previously?

We have worked most of the venues in Dhaka and Chittagong.

Are you open to working alongside other photography companies?

We do not mind to work with others as long as they value photography virtues.

Do you work from a list of shots?

Photography is a creative field and every assignment is unique. It’s nearly impossible to categorise the coverage within a list if we keep in mind that our clients have put their trust to make a coverage that stays for their lifetime.

Can a client request certain pictures to be taken?Yes, certainly, it’s their event and they are our first priority.

How soon after the wedding can a client expect their photos?
Why not on the next day!!! As we have made it before on some special cases. But depending on packages and workloads, in general we need 1-3 weeks to deliver Edited/Printed photos, around 4-8 weeks to deliver Cinematography and 6-10 weeks to deliver Wedding Films.

What equipment do you use? (camera, lenses, editing software)

We are Canon fans and always love to play with the latest top notch gadgets.

I do use lightroom for editing with my own preset.

Do you bring your own lighting?

Depending on events, we bring portable lights and studio set ups but we always try to use those as minimum as possible. We often found it awkward for guests and client if photographers keep trailing on the stage. We need to remember, it’s a wedding not any model shoot; unfortunately lots of photographers forget these and make a circus.

Do you have backup equipment/dual card slot?

We always carry back up for everything.

Do you have a substitute if you are sick on the day of the wedding?

Yes, we do.

Do you use client’s photography for advertising purposes?

This is our main drawbacks, we always found ourselves lazy on marketing. Anyway, most of our clients approve us to share some of their captures in our favour.

How far in advance should a client book your services?

We always request our clients to pre-book us as soon as their events are scheduled. It will not cost them any money but definitely will help them not to lose our services

20. Do you have any tips for better photos?

Tips for the future clients: Please go with the professionals, whose work you like most. For some decisions, it’s worthy not to compromise. It might seems difficult to invest little more extra on photography budget to get the best professionals but the truth is “end of the day, these footages and photos are the only source that will remind the moments of your big day and tell the story to all.” We found one of our clients shortened her guest list just to accommodate Chhobi.net for her best day. In regards of colours, stages and lightings, we should say this is not an issue for wedding photographers. These all can be manageable. Make your decor as the way you want and as a professional it will be our task to capture the moment and represent them on the best possible way. We all professionals should remember that we are hired on a wedding to be the part of someone’s best day, not to waste their precious time by making them pose and make the full process such heavy that the new couple and guest feel embarrassed. If we really dire to get some posed shot, there is always some chances for couple of minutes within those 5-6 hrs; however, the role of a professional is to use every opportunities accurately, neatly and effectively.

When making our photography directory, we came across numerous photography companies, some we knew about and others we didn't. When we came across Sanjoy Shubro Photography, We were surprised we hadn't come across their work before. I would describe his work as art meets photography, which results in breathtaking shots. I am in love with his prewedding photography, so much so that I'm hoping he's available when its time for me to get married!

Tell us a little about yourself:

I am Sanjoy Shubro, working as a wedding portrait photographer in Bangladesh since 2007. Besides wedding photography service I am taking workshops regularly to help others to establish in wedding photography business. My inspiration is Jerry Ghionis, one of the best wedding photographers in the world. I do learn myself everyday from Google and you tube. I think those who want to learn, Google is the best teacher.

What services do you provide?

We are now providing only wedding photography and glamour portrait photography service. I also offer destination pre/post wedding photo session.

How much experience do you have as a photographer?

I am working since 2007 and I have covered over 300 weddings. Now a day we are covering 40-50 weddings per year. We don’t do more than that because we believe in service and client satisfaction.

What is your style of photography?

I think my style of wedding photography is a mixture of glamour and moment. The clients hire us because they trust us. We want them look glamorous on their very special day of life.

Are your packages negotiable?

We have some packages. So customer can choose anyone. As we believe in service we don’t go for any negotiation

What venues have you worked at previously?

I have worked almost all venues. But I think the best experience I had in Nilgiri and Cox’s Bazar where I was with my client for pre/post wedding session. Those places are best for destination wedding.

Are you open to working alongside other photography companies?

No, our service is only limited to our companies.

Do you work from a list of shots?

I don’t have any list of shots. But every time I work in a wedding I always take some common shots first. Then I do try different interesting shots.

Can a client request certain pictures to be taken?
Yes, because it is their day. We always listen to the client first what they need, what they want from us. We actually share our ideas with them before the wedding. We also take note if they request for any specific moment.

How soon after the wedding can a client expect their photos?
Usually it takes no longer than 20 days after the event.

What equipment do you use? (camera, lenses, editing software)

I do use Nikon D610 and D7000 body. I have 50mm, 35mm, 85mm, 18-105mm.

I do use lightroom for editing with my own preset.

Do you bring your own lighting?

We have so many lighting options for the client. Actually it depends on the event. But I do always carry 4 flashes, one video LED light, one adjustable torch light for dramatic photos.

Do you have backup equipment/dual card slot?

We always keep back up. We always take one backup body canon 5d mark 2 which is used by my associate photographer. For clients, with payment any client can keep their photos in my website with password for unlimited time periods.

Do you have a substitute if you are sick on the day of the wedding?

I have substitutes. They work for me and trained by me for long time.

Do you use client’s photography for advertising purposes?

We have contract paper, and if client allows us, we consider using photos for advertisement purposes.

How far in advance should a client book your services?

It depends on the booking.We believe in first come first served. But we appreciate if the client books us one month before, and we have at least one meeting before the event.
